Just Another Week Day!!!

It's nearing bed time here. I can tell by the way my yard apes are acting. When it gets close to bedtime they go crazy. Exhaustion does that to them.

Today has been a pretty good day. I was a little late getting Ax to school this morning but we made it. I ended up sleeping about 30 minutes extra and then of course I had to get myself and him dressed. Here's my outfit for the day!! Don't mind the dirty floor or cluttered house. Cleaning doesn't happen much around here, nobody has time for that!

Jeans- Thrifted
Shoes- Thrifted
Shirt- Factory Connection
Cardigan- Thrifted

Axle threw a little fit this morning but not too bad. He's definitely threw worse ones! I think he's finally starting to adjust some (knock on wood). I went to my Mom's this morning to print some documents off. One of the first investments I'm going to make when I get paid is a nice desktop, printer and scanner. It's a MUST HAVE for this job!!!! I had a few minutes to spare so I sat on the porch and talked with Mommy. That's always a nice way to start the morning.

I headed out for my destination about 9:20. I had to stop and fuel up and get some breakfast. Of course I got bacon. I told you, I'm having a total bacon addiction these days, it's weird!

I made it to the library about 10:10 this morning. I met a co-worker there and we went over some deeds and did some plotting. I learned a little bit about a new program I'll be utilizing. After we finished up there, I headed to the Courthouse and did some research. I got flustered quite quickly and decided around 2:45 to call it a day.

On the way home this evening I stopped by Walmart and grabbed some copy paper. I needed some legal sized and Mom needed some standard sized! I also got a box of Booberry Cereal which I'm intending on having a bowl of before bed and this adorable bag. I needed a new work bag desperately. I loved this one so I got it!!!

I grabbed some Arby's and headed for home. On the way I remembered that I needed to print off some more documents so I ran up Mom's and did that really quick!!!

I finally made it to the house. I did stop for a Rice Krispie treat on my way. I was craving something sweet. The kids weren't home yet when I arrived so I took advantage and went through all my deeds and notes for the day. Before I got finished though Mom brought the kids home. Luckily Anika let me finish up and she watched them. It's such a perk being able to work from home some.

Hubby had kept the kids home till about 11:00 today. He is on 2nd shift so he keeps them home as late as he can. Anika managed to get all of her work caught up today though while she was at Mom's. She's got a list of items to do this week that is unreal. I suppose they are preparing for Fall Break. Mom took Anika to Tutoring at 3:30. We hired her an Algebra tutor because she's struggling some. They ended up working on Algebra till 5:30. Mom killed time with the little one's by taking them to the park and getting icees. They had a good day. After that she took them to hangout at Mama's until Anika was done. Poor Ax was out in the back yard with Granny & Mom said he came running out front telling her she needed to help Granny. Mom asked him what he was talking about and he said Granny was real upset because her animals were under the ground with rocks on them. Poor Ax, Granny was showing him her pet cemetery LOL!!!!

This evening the kids and I have managed to get quite a bit done. The house is actually pretty clean, some laundry is done (there is still TONS to do), I got the van cleaned out and all the junk in it carried in and put away, Axle got a bath (Lee had one earlier today), clothes are laid out for tomorrow, everyone is fed and even the puppies got a bath tonight!!!! It's been a productive evening.

I've still got to do an interview for Anika for her Journalism class for school and do another load or two of laundry and then I'm off to bed myself.

Tomorrow I've got a LOT to get completed. I'm hoping to go in with a plan tomorrow and Thursday and knock it out so I can work from home Friday putting everything together! Not sure if it will happen or not but that is what I'm hoping for!!!!

Friends- hope you guys are having a great week.

Today was a long, exciting and stressful day. With that being said, I have no photos to share. No time for that today! Thought I'd just type up a quick "currently" post to fill you in on how things went today. Enjoy :)

Feeling- Exhausted and ready for some shut eye. It's been a long week and it's just Monday!

Listening- To Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the television. Our television is always on cartoons

Wishing- This headache I've had for 2 days would just go away!!!

Thinking- I might actually be good at this new job after all. I feel much more confident about it this evening.

Thankful- For this amazing opportunity that I landed

Wondering- What time our local Amusement Park closes on Friday and Saturday. The kids and I might take a little trip there this weekend.

Loving- My sweet babies- All three of them :)

Reading- Tons of documents from the Courthouse. Putting them together to make sense is like working a puzzle. It's quite challenging

Needing- To get a Printer and Scanner- probably one of the first things I buy when I get paid

Planning- A trip to Kings Island- We haven't been this year

Praying- For Guidance for my Teenage Daughter. These are such tough years for her

Wanting- New Boots :)

Believing- That God is capable of ALL things- he did work on water after all!

Finding- That being a Working Mom makes me happy. I feel useful, independent and confident

Hating- This toothache and headache- It's killing me

Missing- My Husband- I loves him!!!

Talking- To Anika about how I used to fix her hair when she was little- Poor girl does not want to grow up

Eating- Nothing, I'm full as a tick. Dairy Bar makes a mean burger and that is what I had for dinner

Drinking- Mountain Dew of course- It's my coffee

Dreading- Cleaning out my car but it so needs to be done

Writing- To Do Lists- It's the only way I can keep up with everything

Remembering- I still have a couple things to do before bed

Seeing- Darkness- My kids turned every light in the house off earlier

Going- To pay my electric bill and go to bed. I'm exhausted!!!

Night Friends- Tomorrow is another work day for me. Hoping it goes as well as today did

Until Later,

Ready for a New Day!!!!

My friends, it's been quite the Sunday. Normally I'd come here complaining that I dread seeing the week ahead start but not tonight. While I'm definitely not excited about a whole new long work week, I am excited for this day to be over!!!

The morning started off well. Anika, Axle & I got up, dressed and headed out to Church! Little Lee didn't get to go with us. Her mouth is still broke out pretty bad and so are her legs and bottom area. They said as long as she had places, she was contagious. Hubby stayed home and watched her.

We were rushed getting to Church as usual. Luckily our Church never actually starts on time. I needed to stop and get gas but we didn't have the time. Thankfully we didn't run out. It was a packed house today because it was our Old Fashioned Day. Finding a place to park was difficult. My dad helped direct me to a spot. He was outside when I pulled in. Him and some of the guys had been there this morning since about 6:00 am cooking Beans and Pulled Pork on the outdoor fires!

The service was amazing this morning. I got SUCH A HUGE blessing from it despite the fact that I had to deal with some Anika drama at the beginning. Dustin showed up for Church this morning and she was unbelievably rude to him. He sat with us and she sat by herself. I was never so disappointed in all my life. I raised her better than that. She ended up leaving the service crying. Eventually she came back. The singing this morning was absolutely beautiful. We have some talented singers. The message Larry preached hit home with me, it brought tears to my eyes. I felt very humbled to sit in the pew this morning.

After the service there was more Anika drama. Dustin left without eating and bless his heart, he was just hurt so bad. Anika sat in a corner and cried most of the time. I went in and prayed and cried for awhile but eventually straightened myself up and went to eat with my parent's and Axle. The food was amazing and there was so much of it! If you come visit during Old Fashioned Day, you can be guaranteed a good meal!

By the time we left I had a busting headache. Axle wanted to go home with his Nan for awhile so she took him with her. I took my Granny home and dropped her off and then Anika & I came home. We had a long talk on the way home and her first order of business when we walked through the door was call and apologize to Dustin. She did and he accepted.

Hubby has moped pretty much all day because he has traded himself out of a vehicle. I hate when he does that because for some reason he thinks he should take his frustration out on the rest of us. Pretty much he's been a sour puss all day and frankly he's busted my nerves. Anika's pretty much cried all day because only God knows why. On the bright side Lee Lee and Ax have had good days.

Hubby has had a few buddies stop by throughout the day. I've straightened the house up a few times and done some laundry. Other than that, not much has happened.

Mom brought Ax home this evening and him & Lee played outside for awhile. He rode his motorcycle and she watched. She is his biggest fan! He finally decided to ride their battery powered side by side for awhile which made her happy because she could ride too!

See Poor Lee's Mouth :(

Anika made Potato Soup for dinner this evening and it was so good. It's her specialty. Mom helped her cut up the potatoes but she did the rest. Ax didn't like it much but Hubby and I enjoyed it and Lee devoured it. The child ate 2 bowls! Ax pretty much just ate bacon bits. He's a weird eater.

After dinner we said goodbye to two of our puppies. The guy down the road wanted them and we couldn't take care of all four of them so we gave him two of them. The little one's got a bath and so did I. It's now going on 10:00 and both the babies are already sleeping. I'm getting ready to head to bed myself and so is Anika. Hubby is still out wandering around trying to find something to drive. Hopefully he comes up with something soon. If not, he might go missing (just kidding).

Tomorrow I start my new job and I can't even begin to tell you how super nervous I am about it. I'm like seriously shaking inside nervous. I don't know if I can do the job and do it well. I'm terrified that I'm going to look like a fool and let everyone down. Please pray for me as I approach this new challenge.

Friends- I miss reading and commenting on all your posts. I know I say that a lot but I really do. I hope you guys are all doing fantastic and have had a great weekend.

Much Love,

The Wheels are Turning

It's been an unreal week my friends so the downtime we have had this weekend so far was much welcomed. Here's just a brief list of some of the million of thoughts going through my brain. I'm probably getting ready to overwhelm you so I apologize in advance.

* Friday was a work day for me! Axle doesn't go to school on Friday's so Anika graciously volunteered to watch the kids for me. This meant I didn't have to wake them up and drag them out. It made my morning go much smoother.

* I actually remembered to take an OOTD picture Friday- Here's what I was looking like for work!

Shirt-Jeans-Shoes: All from Cato's
Necklace: Dollar Store

* I also snapped this picture of my babies before going out the door. Axle ended up waking up at 5:00 in the morning but quickly went back to sleep on the couch. Anika got up at 7:00 to watch the kiddos. She had a pretty easy job till about 10:00 when they both woke!

* I got my morning bacon before work. I'm addicted to bacon in the mornings. It makes my whole day go better.

* I actually dreaded going into work. I got offered another job on Thursday evening and it was one I couldn't turn down. First of all the money is amazing (like $275.00 per day amazing) and second of all the work is fairly easy. I dreaded telling my boss and co-workers. I love them all so much and it was breaking my heart to leave them. Luckily, they were all super understanding and my boss even offered to allow me to keep my position and only work as many hours as I could. She said I could work late evenings, weekends, etc. Whatever it took to get my work done. I was so thrilled since the other job is temporary (not sure how long) it allowed me to hold my position with the company and still not lose my connection with the girls. Win Win!!! I went from no job to two jobs in 2 weeks, crazy!

* One of my co-workers husband's bought all of us girls in the office these cute bracelets. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Physical Therapy Month. We like to combine the two and honor both!

* Since Friday's are 1/2 days for us (we don't see patient's after noon), I left out of the office about 12:30. Anika called and put her order in for pizza so I went to the bank and picked up some food to bring home.

* The kids were up and roaring by the time I got home. We ate, the kids played and Dad picked Anika up to go to his house to work on her school work!

* Anika and Dustin broke up! It was a REALLY bad decision on her part but sometimes we have to let them live and learn. Anika is back into a situation that breaks my heart (and our families) but sometimes kids do what they do. As much as I'd love to control her life, I know I have to give her the freedom to make some decisions. If you pray, say a little prayer for her that God will watch over her and deal with her heart.

* Hubby got home about 6:00- he worked out in the garage on his truck pretty much all evening. I assisted even though I didn't really do much but hold a pry bar. I'm totally not a mechanic.

* I ended up going to my Mom's around 7:30 to do some paperwork. The new job sent me a Contract, Direct Deposit Forms, Tax Forms, Etc. that had to be filled out, scanned and emailed back to them. Luckily Mom has a scanner. It's definitely something I'll be investing in soon.

* By the time I got ready to leave, Anika was finished with her work so she came home with me. I made us some dinner, we ate and then lounged around the rest of the evening. By about 10:30 I was wiped out. I went and laid down with Lee and never moved again till this morning. I never go to sleep before the Hubby but this was one time that I definitely did!

* Today I didn't crawl out of bed till about 10:30 am. When I woke up, Hubby and Ax were already outside. Hubby was hard at it again working on his truck.

* I cleaned up the house and did some laundry. I spent my morning doing pretty much nothing else. I was quite lazy.

* Axle, Anika and I ran to town. I had to pick up my medicine, get some work supplies from the Dollar Store and grab a few groceries. Axle wanted to ride the quarter machine. I usually tell him it's broke but I let Annalee ride it the other day so I didn't want to be unfair!

* When we got home Hubby and Lee were asleep! We didn't bother them and they ended up sleeping about 3 hours. Hubby has had a bad headache pretty much all day. While they slept, we cleaned some more on the house, did some more laundry and Axle did arts and crafts. He drew, cut with scissors, etc. He's getting more and more into that kind of stuff.

* Anika even laid out Axle's school clothes for the entire week next week while I got our Church clothes for tomorrow laid out. Next week is the last week of color week and she has him all set!

* My lazy butts finally got out of bed. They all went outside to hang out. I took total advantage and put my work stuff together. I updated my calendar, started my work notebook and started my journal notebook. I've been looking at so many cool journal and calendar ideas on Pinterest. I love anything that has to do with writing and lists :)

* Axle and Lee hauled the Pups around in their side by side while Hubby worked some more on his truck. He finally gave up. He says he has no idea what it's problem is!

* I fixed some Cheeseburgers for dinner, we ate and then I rode down the road with Hubby to look at a boat. When we got back Hubby hung outside with a neighbor for a bit while Anika cleaned Bub's room up and I worked on my bedroom. We have actually been pretty productive today.

* It's after 10:00 pm now and the kids are still up and going full speed. They are playing garage. Annalee is the customer and Ax is the mechanic. Hubby is chilling and watching television and Anika is playing on her cell phone. Definitely a low key evening around here.

* Before I close, here's just some random thoughts on my mind!!!

* Christmas is coming soon- I've been scouring the net for gift ideas

* Hubby is wanting to go to Florida for Christmas- I'm thinking Disney maybe!

* I'm VERY nervous about this new job. I hope I can do it. I done it years ago but don't
remember much. Prayers appreciated!!!!

* Tomorrow is Old Fashioned Day at Church and I'm excited. I've never been but I hear there is lots of great food and fellowship. It will take up most of our Sunday!

* I started a tax deduction monthly file for receipts. I'm going to need it since this new job is a 1099 job. I'm also going to need a good accountant.

* Lee Lee is finally starting to look a little better. Her mouth still looks pretty rough and so do the insides of her legs. I'm hoping she's on the mend and praying none of us get it too.

* We wanted to do a Pumpkin Patch today but due to Lee Lee being sick, we didn't

* I've got so many PROJECTS I'd love to work on and so little time

* I've not been able to blog read much because I've been so busy. I'd like to think it will get better but with adding yet another job, I don't think it's going to happen

* My Hubby traded his truck for a boat today. This is not bikini bottom. I have no idea how he thinks he is going to drive a boat to work. His problem, not mine!!!!

* I'm wanting to take the kids to an Amusement Park on Friday- Hopefully it pans out for us.

With all that said friends, I need to go to bed and get these wheels to quit turning. I'm exhausting myself tonight.

I hope you guys have a great and blessed Sunday ahead.

Much Love,

Overwhelmingly Busy

Good Morning Gang!
I know, it's been awhile since you have heard from me hasn't it?
I've been SO overwhelmed with just life but I'll get back on track sooner or later
I'm just going to use today's post as a little catch up post so here is what has been happening around here the past week or so.

I went to work and Axle went to school. Hubby, Anika and Annalee spent their day in Lexington. Anika was required to go there to a public library and take her 10th Grade Plan Test. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so not too bad. She had to test for 3 1/2 hours so I think Hubby and Lee Lee hit up every Walmart, park, etc. trying to keep themselves occupied I do think they had a good day though. Mom also went for her SS Hearing on Monday. She said the judge was very hard to read so she really has no idea how it went. It will be 30-90 days before she actually finds out anything.

I worked 1/2 a day. I was supposed to have a Doctor's Appointment but ended up backing out and not going. Honestly, I just dreaded the drive by myself. Instead, I took the other 1/2 of my day and did some housework. It was much needed. Lee Lee and I did take a few minutes and run to the thrift store. I was looking for Axle some pants  for Winter. I only found him 2 pair but I found lots of other goodies including a trailer that you pull behind a bicycle, a toy storage unit and lots of cute clothes! Hubby started pulling his motor out of his truck when he got home from work. His brother and his brother's girlfriend came down. The boys worked in the garage while Debbie & I hung out in the house.

I worked a Full Day on Wednesday. Axle had school & Anika and Lee spent the day with my Mom. It was purple day at Axle's school and I like to never found the boy something purple to wear. When I went and picked up Lee from my Mom's, it was obvious she was sick. She was broke out all around her mouth. After getting her home I realized there was a rash pretty much over her entire body. I called the after hours and they told me unless she got worse to take her to her family doctor on Thursday. We spent our evening taking it easy. Ax seemed to be really tired and out of sorts too. I think it was just because Annalee was sick though. Hubby spent his evening in the garage yet again!!!!

Annalee looked even worse when I woke so I called into work and told them I'd be late. Her diagnosis ended up being Hand Foot and Mouth OR a Skin Staph Infection. Either way they gave me some antibiotics and cream for her. I dropped the girls off at mom's and ended up getting to work around 11:30. I worked the remainder of the day. Our evening was pretty low key. The kids played while Hubs worked yet again in the garage and I did housework. Anika attended a Webinar at Mom's before coming home in which she thought it was the weirdest thing ever! We ended our evening with a good dinner and some  downtime!

That my friends has you up to date. Today is Friday and I'm hoping it's a good one. I work a 1/2 a day today so Anika is going to stay home in the bed with the little's until I get home. I feel PMS setting in so I'm hoping for a good day today. Hopefully it's nothing a little Motrin can't cure.

Here's some photos I thought I'd share though before I wrapped up this post!

Since I never get pictures of Axle at school his
friend Blake's Mom sends me all the one's she
takes! Aren't these adorable?

My new Nephew Mr. Deacon is doing wonderful!
He's growing like a little weed
Such a cutie pie :)

The kids and I are excited to make Pumpkin Jello

My Only OOTD picture so far this week

Maxi Dress- Thrifted
Sweater- Thrifted
Shoes- I think Cato's or Factory Connection
Necklace- Dollar Store

Mommy's Sick Girl

Alright Friends...that is a wrap for me! I'm going to do a little blog reading before time for work. I've so missed you all. I hope you guys all have a wonderful Friday and I hope to get my posting back on track very soon.

Happy Weekend

It turned out to be a Busy Day

I had high hopes of doing some major blog reading today. I miss reading, it was always my downtime. These days downtime is not in my schedule though. I truly thought today was going to be a very slow Sunday (I was hoping anyway) but it turns out it has been anything but slow. Such is life I suppose.

We did sleep in a bit this morning. I think I rolled out of bed a little after 9:00. We missed Church this morning and I was so disappointed. There was a special pastor conducting service today and I really wanted to hear him. He's a little younger than me, I know him from back in High School. Mom and Dad went though and said he preached a wonderful message.

By the time I actually did get out of bed this morning, Axle and Hubby was already up. They slept on the couch last night. Apparently at some point Axle fell between the couch and the wall. Hubby said he woke him up crying so he moved him to the couch and that is where they remained all night. They woke before us this morning so they went outside and let Ax ride his motorcycle. He's getting pretty good at riding and can start it all by himself now. He did run over one of our little pups today by accident but thankfully it didn't hurt it.

Hubby had a stove he needed to deliver to his brother this morning so we did that first thing. I think he really wanted to leave me here but he ended up waiting till I got ready. He's impatient about things like that. He thinks I should be able to get dressed, do my makeup and my hair in the time it takes him to throw on some clothes! Men should totally have to walk a day in a woman's life!

Plaid Tunic- Thrifted
Leggings- Walmart
Boots- Target

We got the stove delivered and Hubby and his brother did some trading on a motor for Hubby's truck. He asked me if I wanted to hang out with him while he took it out. My answer was NO!!!! I don't enjoy just wondering around watching men tinker with old trucks. I had him bring me home and then him and Axle went back to get the motor out.

Sissy had plans today to go driving with her Papa so she got cleaned up, I got Lee cleaned up and then took her to Mom and Dad's. We ended up staying and visiting a bit. I hadn't seen my daddy in a few days. He was showing me the new swing he built for my Mommy. That man is all the time projecting on something.

Lee Lee and I went on to town after our visit. We hit up the Dollar Store for a few Household Supplies we needed. We also got snack to send to school with Axle this week. It isn't a requirement but I try to do it weekly. It makes the kids happy and makes Axle feel important!

I also grabbed myself some new makeup while I was out. I've been scrimping with what little I've had for awhile now, I thought it was a good time to buy some new with my new hair and all :)

Annalee and I also stopped by the Supermarket. I decided that since my SIL was coming home today with the baby, I'd make her dinner and take to her. I know how bad it is to have to cook for the rest of the family on your first day home. We of course couldn't get out of the supermarket without riding the quarter machine!

By the time we got home the boys were already back. I got all my stuff put away and then helped Hubby got his hood off of his truck. He immediately set in working on it. The kids hung out with him for awhile until they started driving him crazy. While they were outside though, I got a little housework done, some laundry finished and the Taco Salads made and plated to go to my SIL.

Anika called me around 5:00 crying. Her and Mom had a falling out and she wanted to come home. I talked to Mom and she said she was bringing her. I really think that Mom was just in a rough mood today. She goes for her SS Hearing tomorrow and she's a nervous wreck. She's waited 2 years for a hearing and while we know she deserves her SS, we also know lots of times the system fails. I just pray she gets it as she's not able to go back to work and they just can't make it on what dad is making and the little bit of retirement she is drawing.

Anika said she did good driving. She didn't wreck so that is a plus. It's hard to believe that it's time to teach her to drive. It seems like yesterday she was my little tiny baby :(

Once Anika got home, we ran Viik's dinner over to her and her family. We didn't visit long as I knew she was exhausted but oh my word, Deacon looked just precious!

Before we came home we ran back to the Dollar Store to get Axle some Motrin for his legs and Lee Lee some Desitin. She has a bad rash. We also cleaned out my car at the car wash and vacuumed it out. Axle wanted ice cream so I grabbed him and Lee Lee an Oreo Blizzard at DQ. I got Hubby one too in hopes of getting him in a better mood. He's been crabby today.

This evening Hubby has continued working on his truck. He's got the old motor out and the new motor ready to go in. Anika and I have worked on the house some. I have a TON of laundry that needs put away and a ton of laundry that still needs done. Laundry is a never ending problem around here! We also got things ready for tomorrow. The GPS is in the car, Annalee has a bag packed, Axle's school stuff is laid out and ready to go and my clothes are ready for work. Tomorrow is GREEN day at school and it's also school pictures! It was tough finding a decent looking green outfit!

The night is finally winding down. It's almost 11:00 pm so we have to get in the bed soon. Axle has school tomorrow. Hubby is going to take him to school and then take me to work and drop me off. Anika has to be in Lexington tomorrow (about 3 hours away) so Hubby will take her and Lee Lee down there! She has to take a State Mandated Testing there at the library. It should be a LONG day for Hubby! I'm just thankful that he had days he could take off to take her.

Well friends, one day I might get to do some blog reading. I'm really not holding my breath though! Seems like things just get busier and busier around here.

Hope you guys all have a great Monday!!!!
